<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device in which wavy noise is reduced and an aperture ratio is heightened by forming data lines covered with an opaque insulating film with a three-mask-process, and a method for manufacturing the same. <P>SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing the liquid crystal display device includes: a step to form a gate electrode and a gate line composed of a first conductive film on an array substrate with a first mask process; a step to form a second conductive film pattern composed of a second conductive film, a storage capacitor pre-pattern composed of the second conductive film, and a data line composed of the second conductive film so as to intersect with the gate line and define a pixel region with a second mask process; a step to form the opaque insulating film by covering the data line; a step to form a transparent third conductive film on the array substrate; and a step to form a source electrode, a drain electrode, a pixel electrode in contact with the drain electrode, and a storage capacitor pattern in contact with the pixel electrode by patterning the second conductive film pattern and the third conductive film with a third mask process. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
