[PROBLEMS] To efficiently extract at least the same level of energy as that by conventional internal combustion engine without the occurrence of problems attributed to fuel resources. [MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] The circulating internal pressure engine comprises carbon dioxide engine (1) having its actuator driven by force attributed to a volume expansion of carbon dioxide (35a) supplied in the condition of high pressure to atmospheric pressure; pressure regulation valve (70a) for regulating the pressure of carbon dioxide on the exhaust port side of the carbon dioxide engine (1) to atmospheric pressure; tank (67) for recovery of carbon dioxide emitted from the carbon dioxide engine (1); pump (61) for suctioning of carbon dioxide (35b) recovered in the tank (67); refrigerator (57) for refrigerating of the carbon dioxide (35b) fed by the pump (61); carbon dioxide compression liquefaction producing machine (59) for compression liquefaction, at high pressure, of the refrigerated carbon dioxide fed by the refrigerator (57); and circulation tank (73) for storage of compression liquefied carbon dioxide, these constituents connected to each other by pipe (33) to thereby provide circuit (34) for circulation of carbon dioxide.
