The present invention providing a method, communication system and network entity for handing over a group of nodes includes: establishing the first tunnel connection between a mobile relay station and a serving entity; a target entity obtaining group information of the group of nodes desired to be handed over, and the group information comprising information of the first tunnel; according to the group information, the target entity configuring information of the second tunnel for the group of nodes and the information of the second tunnel being needed for handing over the group of nodes; handing over the group of nodes from the serving entity to the target entity according to the information of the second tunnel. By using the present invention, the group information that needs to be transmitted in a handover process is reduced, and a handover signaling storm resulted from the number of handing over is avoided.
