<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell for perpetually maintaining an effect of suppressing a cross leak quantity and the swelling of a polymer solid electrolyte film. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel cell has a film electrode assembly composed of an anode, a cathode and the polymer solid electrolyte film interposed between the anode and the cathode.
