A method for producing compost using bittern produced by deep seawater is provided to recycle organic waste in order to produce compost containing the large amount of useful materials for the growth of plants. A method for producing compost using bittern comprises the following steps of: pre-processing deep seawater extracted at depth of 200m or more and evaporating or concentrating concentrated water which is not filtered in a reverse osmosis process in order to produce salt while making bittern; cultivating useful soil microorganisms by using both leachate produced in a fermentation process and the bittern produced from the deep seawater; and injecting the useful microorganisms and organic additives to organic waste so as to produce compost. |
