PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic photoelectric conversion element having a longer service life.SOLUTION: An organic photoelectric conversion element 10 includes a first electrode 32, a second electrode 34, an active layer 40 provided between the first electrode and the second electrode, and an intermediate layer(s) 50 joined to the active layer and one or both of the first electrode and the second electrode respectively. At least one of the first electrode and the second electrode comprises a first metal layer 34a joined to the intermediate layer, and a second metal layer 34b joined to the first metal layer and containing a metal different from a metal constituting the first metal layer. The absolute value of the work function of a material constituting the first metal layer is 4.9 eV or more.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
