In forming an alignment mark for checking an alignment between a surface-mount-type electronic device and a circuit board, on the circuit board, the present invention provides an alignment mark structure of the circuit board. A dummy mark is further formed along the edge of the alignment mark which has a designated shape on the circuit board. Only the dummy mark is lost by etching, in an etching process for the circuit board to form the alignment mark. The recognition rate of the alignment mark is improved by maintaining the designated shape of the alignment mark. So, productivity can be improved by reducing a failure due to the surface mount process of the electronic device. |
