An objective of the present invention is to provide a method and a system for providing a search result list which sequentially arrange a plurality of search results obtained by applying a plurality of criteria on a single search result list such that the search results can be provided efficiently. The method for providing a search result list through a network according to an aspect of the present invention comprises the steps of: selecting a first search result having a rank based on a first criterion according to a key word and a second search result having a rank based on a second criterion according to the key word; determining a first position on which a first item selected from the second search result is placed in the first search result; and omitting a placement process of the first item when the first item is included in the first search result and placed before the first position.
