USER-CONVENIENT APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR TRANSMITTING USB TRANSACTIONS OVER WIRELESS PAN

PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for transmitting USB(Universal Serial Bus) transactions over a wireless PAN(Personal Area Network) are provided to remove inconvenience due to using wired networks by using an application software and USB devices on the wireless PAN. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for transmitting USB(Universal Serial Bus) transactions over a wireless PAN(Personal Area Network) includes a discovery module(340), a device list storage module(330), and an endpoint bandwidth allocation module(350). The discovery module detects USB devices from devices on the wireless PAN. The device list storage module stores information on the detected devices. The endpoint bandwidth allocation module allocates proper channel durations based on the kinds of transactions acquired from information of the detected devices.
