PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus including a carrier device which stops rotation of a driven roller with a simple structure.SOLUTION: A carrier device 15 includes: a driving roller 51 rotationally driven; a driven roller 52 which rotates in conjunction with rotation of the driving roller 51; and a support member 21 supporting the driven roller 52. The driven roller 52 has: a support shaft 57; and a rotor 58 which is rotatably supported by the support shaft 57. An engagement part 60, which is formed by bending a part of the support shaft 57, is integrally provided with the support shaft 57.
