PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a scintillator excellent in moisture resistance, afterglow reduction properties, the suppression of bright barn, brightness, image quality or the like in total at a well balance, a scintillator panel including the scintillator, and a method for producing a scintillator panel.SOLUTION: Provided is a scintillator being a crystal body using cesium iodine as a base material, in which the crystal body contains an alkali metal source (A) whose atomic weight is smaller than that of cesium, and further, a part of the iodine in the cesium iodide forming the base material is substituted with at least one kind of halogen element (B) selected from the group consisting of bromine, chlorine and fluorine.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
