PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly control an interval between cards to be a desired interval in a printer which performs printing on the cards.SOLUTION: A printing system 10 comprises a plurality of printers 12, and a relay part 14. Each of the plurality of printers 12 includes an inkjet head 202 being a print head and an alignment part 112 which aligns a plurality of cards in the preset conveyance direction for the cards 50 after printing. The plurality of alignment parts 112 and the relay part 14 constitute a post-printing conveyance path 20 for conveying the cards 50 in the one direction. The alignment part 112 in each of the printers 12 is configured to be switchable between a feeding mode for conveying the plurality of cards 50 so that the interval becomes the predetermined interval, and a relay mode for conveying the cards to the downstream side of the alignment part 112 in a mode different from the feeding mode.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 11
