1. A compound of Formula I: wherein X1 to X8 are each a carbon or nitrogen; wherein when any of X1 to X8 is nitrogen, there is no substitution on that nitrogen; wherein R1 represents mono, di, tri, or tetra substitution, or no substitution; wherein R2 represents mono, di, or tri substitution, or no substitution; wherein G1 is selected from the group consisting of alkyl, cycloalkyl, heteroalkyl, aryl, heteroaryl, and combinations thereof; wherein G1 can be further substituted by one or more substituents selected from the group consisting of deuterium, halogen, alkyl, cycloalkyl, heteroalkyl, arylalkyl, alkoxy, aryloxy, amino, silyl, alkenyl, cycloalkenyl, heteroalkenyl, alkynyl, aryl, heteroaryl, acyl, carbonyl, carboxylic acid, ester, nitrile, isonitrile, sulfanyl, sulfinyl, sulfonyl, phosphino, and combinations thereof; wherein G2 is selected from the group consisting of biphenyl and fluorene; wherein when G2 is fluorene, G2 can be further substituted by one or more substituents selected from the group consisting of deuterium, halogen, alkyl, cycloalkyl, heteroalkyl, arylalkyl, alkoxy, aryloxy, amino, silyl, alkenyl, cycloalkenyl, heteroalkenyl, alkynyl, aryl, heteroaryl, acyl, carbonyl, carboxylic acid, ester, nitrile, isonitrile, sulfanyl, sulfinyl, sulfonyl, phosphino, and combinations thereof, where two alkyl substituents together with the atom they are attached can make a cycle; wherein L is selected from the group consisting of a direct bond, aryl, and heteroaryl; wherein G3 is selected from the group consisting of carbazole, dibenzothiophene, dibenzofuran, dibenzoselenophene, triphenylene, fluorene, aza variants thereof, and combinations thereof; wherein L and G3 each can be further substituted by one or more substituents selected from the group consisting of deuterium, halogen, alkyl, cycloalkyl, heteroalkyl, arylalkyl, alkoxy, aryloxy, amino, silyl, alkenyl, cycloalkenyl, heteroalkenyl, alkynyl, aryl, heteroaryl, acyl, carbonyl, carboxylic acid, ester, nitrile, isonitrile, sulfanyl, sulfinyl, sulfonyl, phosphino, and combinations thereof; and wherein R1 and R2 are each independently selected from the group consisting of hydrogen, deuterium, halogen, alkyl, cycloalkyl, heteroalkyl, arylalkyl, alkoxy, aryloxy, amino, silyl, alkenyl, cycloalkenyl, heteroalkenyl, alkynyl, aryl, heteroaryl, acyl, carbonyl, carboxylic acid, ester, nitrile, isonitrile, sulfanyl, sulfinyl, sulfonyl, phosphino, and combinations thereof; and wherein any two adjacent substituents are optionally joined to form a ring. |
