PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a rod lens array with a cured coated film which can suppress deterioration of an optical performance while improving a mechanical characteristic of the rod lens array and, further, can suitably maintain an adhesive strength with a casing of an apparatus provided with the rod lens array.SOLUTION: In a manufacturing method, a plurality of columnar lenses which are arrayed such that central axes thereof get parallel to each other are clamped and fastened by two sheets of plate material and a cured coated film of an active energy ray curable resin composition is formed on at least one side of end surfaces in a direction along central axis direction of the columnar lenses, and on an outer surface of a face of at least one side plate material opposite to the columnar lenses. Therein, the active energy ray curable resin composition contains 0.01 to 0.90 pts.mass of a levelling agent with respect to 100 pts.mass of the active energy ray curable resin composition.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
