Provided is a method and system for controlling to disperse traffic volume in time and space, using bidirectional communication. A method for controlling to disperse traffic volume according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: receiving pieces of movement information from vehicles; estimating a future traffic situation, on the basis of the received pieces of movement information and the current traffic situation; and allocating paths to vehicles, on the basis of the estimated future traffic situation. Accordingly, the method can disperse movement paths of vehicles in time and space through a bidirectional communication among a central server and vehicles. Specially, the invention can relieve traffic congestion through not only dispersing traffic volume in space but also dispersing traffic volume in time, so as to shorten driving time and save energy. |
