A security sealing ring for use in polyphase and single phase watt-hour meter includes ring -shaped annular band made of stainless steel that has, at opposed ends, sealing members fixedly held thereon. One end of the annular band includes a plurality of slotted protruding member and the other end includes an extending member having plurality of notches, each notches is provided with tooth-like portion adapted to engage to said slotted protruding member interlocking thereof. Therefore, the security sealing ring cannot be removed by mere force with the intention of tampering or altering the meter. |
