PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dot recording device capable of preventing a color stripe due to the adjacency of starts of dot striking from being conspicuous.SOLUTION: The dot recording device executes multi-pass recording for completing recording of dots on a main scan line by N times (N is a prescribed integer of 2 or more) main scan passes, and executes multi-pass recording in each super cell area each defined as an area including a pixel position at which a dot is recorded by each main scan pass. Among the super cell area, a first super cell area SC1 recorded by a first pass in the super cell area has the shape of a first recessed polygon having recessed parts and projection parts, a second super cell area SC2 recorded by a second pass in the super cell area has the shape of a second recessed polygon having recessed parts and projection parts, and the first recessed polygon and the second recessed polygon have symmetric shapes in which the directions of main scan directions are opposite.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 |
