PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase start up time of a circuit which operates with an electric power received from a capacitor.SOLUTION: A slave unit 1 of an automatic fire alarm system includes: capacitors 121 to 123; a current adjustment section 124. The capacitors 121 to 123 are charged with a current flowing on a pair of wires 51 and 52. The current adjustment section 124 is electrically connected across the pair of wires 51 and 52 and the capacitors 121 to 123 to adjust upper limit value of the current. The slave unit 1 includes a circuit A1 which operates with an electric power supplied from the capacitors 121 to 123. The current adjustment section 124 adjusts the upper limit value to be larger than that in ordinary state during at least a part of period until the circuit A1 starts up.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
