The present invention relates to a device for calibration of a clamped workpiece (B) having a circular or cylindrical surface (K) intended for clamping and a peripheral surface (A) intended for machining. A distance sensor (M), having its output connected to an evaluation module (V) is arranged opposite the workpiece (B) peripheral surface, wherein a reference module (R) output is connected to the evaluation module (V). The reference module (R) contains a required distance of the peripheral surface (A) from the distance sensor (M) at identical point. The evaluation module (V) output is transmitted to an output module (F) displaying geometrical deviation of the measured distance of the peripheral surface (A) from the required one, whereby the workpiece (B) can be radially displaced relative to the distance sensor (M). |
