PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To greatly improve the durability regardless of a contact condition with a terminal, in an electric contact such as a contact pin that repeatedly comes into contact with the terminal including tin (Sn) such as a solder ball to be electrically connected to it.SOLUTION: An upside plunger 24 of this electric contact includes: a base material 25 made of a material having conductivity; and an outermost layer 26 formed in a part of the surface of the base material 25 that at least comes into contact with a terminal. The outermost layer 26 is made of a metal (for example, ruthenium (Ru), iridium (Ir), or the like) that is not alloyed with tin (Sn), and the surface roughness (Ra) when the cut-off value is set to 250 nm is 1 nm or less.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
