摘要 PURPOSE: To align optical axes between transmitters with each other and to align an optical axis of a visual light or a light of a wavelength at which a silicon image pickup element has sensitivity with an optical axis of an infrared ray in the optical communication device adopting an infrared ray laser for its light source. CONSTITUTION: A main signal laser beam whose wavelength is 1400 to 1600nm and a visual light or a light whose wavelength is sensitive to a silicon image pickup element are coupled by a coupler 5 to align the optical axes. The synthesized light is emitted to an opposite party transmitter and part of the light is detected by a collimate scope 160 to adjust the optical axis, or as other method, an optical wavelength conversion element made of a photoluminescence material is provided in an optical path and a light with a wavelength at which a silicon image pickup element has sensitivity is emitted by energy of the main signal laser beam to align the optical axis.
