PURPOSE:To always form an image of proper density by preparing an image forming parameter which is effective only for a certain time and is less corrected in accordance with the elapse of time and combining this parameter and the circumstance history to set an image forming condition CONSTITUTION:A circumstance detecting means 19 which detects circumstances around a developing means 1 and a storage means 22 where detection results are stored for a prescribed time are provided. A setting means 18 which sets the image forming condition to determine the image density and a counting means (timer) 24 which counts the time are provided. The image forming condition to determine the image density is set based on contents of the counting means 24 and those of storage means 22 and 23. Thus, a picture of proper density is always obtained regardless of a large difference between circumstances and circumstances where the developer is sealed. |
