PURPOSE:To provide an optical record medium capable of recording with excellent contrast and high reliability, and performing recording and deleting repeatedly without fail. CONSTITUTION:On a support 1, a heat mode optical record layer 3 is provided. The heat mode optical record layer 3 is constituted of at least electron donative coloring compound and electron acceptive compound, reversibly having a coloring state to be obtained by heating it to a temperature higher than a coloring temperature and cooling it, and a decoloring state to be obtained by heating it to a temperature lower than the coloring temperature and cooling it. |
