PURPOSE:To provide a linear motor drive elevator capable of easily magnetizing and demagnetizing a permanent magnet to form the field system of a linear synchronous motor, CONSTITUTION:The permanent magnet 8 of the field system of a linear synchronous motor provided on an elevator body 4 is demagnetized and magnetized at a necessary time with a magnetic device 11 provided in an elevator shaft 1. Hereby, handling, maintenance, and inspection of the permanent magnet 8 are facilitated. Further, the magnetic device 11 is provided in an operation room 10 on the lower end of the elevator shaft 1, and the elevator body 4 is excessively brought down by a moving means 12 so as to simplify the demagnetizing and magnetizing work. |
