PURPOSE:To prepare the subject microemulsion which is useful as a cosmetic, a medicine, a fiber-treating agent, etc., because of its small particle diameter and excellent stability. CONSTITUTION:A mixture comprising a low-mol.-wt. diorganopolysiloxane, an org. sulfonic acid and/or an org. sulfuric acid, an anionic surfactant. and water is stirred at 30-100 deg.C and neutralized to give a transparent, water-in-oil microemulsion contg. liq. diorganopolysiloxane droplets having a mean particle diameter of 0.1mum or lower and a number-average mol.wt. of 10,000 or higher. |
