PURPOSE:To automize a determination support of the number of casting frames by a knowledge processing by combining preferentially split die models having a large number of frames to be cast to each other in a first combination processing, and combining the model having a large number of frames to be cast to the model having a small number of frames to be cast in a second combination processing. CONSTITUTION:A casting arrangement data for each article name is transmitted from a host computer 1 to a work station 2, and the work station 2 stores this data in data 3b for the number of casting arrangements. The work station 2 calculates the number of casting necessary frames of each material and melting weight on the casting day concerned from the data 3b. Subsequently, melting order of each material is determined. The order is determined to one of melting order patterns or similar thereto based on a melting order determination rule. Based on a result of the foregoing, a combination of split die models and the number of casting frames after this combination are determined for each material. That is, since the combination is executed while executing a lot division, it is prevented that casting is executed precedingly. |
