PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio communication system with which economy is improved by preferentially operating the recording function of a terminal itself. SOLUTION: When a call is terminated through a communication line network 11 to a PHS terminal 13 and there is a space in the recording area of a recording and reproducing device, its start setting wait time Ti is set to Ti<Tv in relation to start setting wait time Tv of a voice mail center 16 and the recording and reproducing device is preferentially operated. Afterwards, when there is no space in the recording area of the recording and reproducing device, the setting of that start setting wait time Ti is changed into Ti>Tv in relation to the start setting wait time Tv of the voice mail center 16 and the voice mail center 16 is preferentially operated. |
