FIELD: solar-energy engineering. SUBSTANCE: solar heater includes tank 1 filled with liquid and provided with inlet branch pipe 3 and outlet branch pipe 4. On side of sun rays, tank is closed with at least one layer of insulation 9 transparent for rays and located at air gap relative to surface of tank cover directed to it for absorbing energy of sun rays. Cover is made in form of pan floating in tank. It is made from heat-conducting material and its inner surface directed to sun rays is coated with ray absorbing material.
