PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an interlock circuit which can decrease high voltage to safe voltage or lower within a regulated time and for which an economically advanced and inexpensive relay is employed. SOLUTION: A charge part 12 comprising two capacitors 121, 122 connected in series is charged with high voltage generated in a voltage transformer part 11 and a discharge lamp 15 is lighted by the charged voltage Vc1 and at the same time, a discharge circuit connected in parallel to the capacitor 122 through a contact 14a of a relay 14 is opened. Then, when a cover of a lamp house 151 of the discharge lamp 15 is put off due to changing of the discharge lamp 15 and an interlock switch 15a is opened, only the charged voltage Vc1/2 of the capacitor 122 is discharged through the discharge circuit after closing the contact 14a and opening the contact 14b of the relay 14. |
