The print setting system, especially for a sheet-fed printing press, has blower jets (1) across the width of the printed sheet which are throttled and/or disconnected in zones. The blowing jets and/or the excimer radiator are operated by a control unit. The assembly is contained within an enclosed setting chamber, where the printed sheets are passed through. A rotating feedthrough (7) is located axially within the printing cylinder serving to set the print system. Blow nozzles (1) are located within the setting unit. A control unit (5) controlling the feed of the setting gases and interrupting the feed of the gases from the end of one sheet to the start of another is assigned to one of the blow nozzles.
