The arrangement comprises an inflatable passenger protection device, an inflating arrangement which is activated for inflating the passenger protection device, carrier devices for mounting the protection device and the inflating arrangement at a part of the vehicle, and a cover which covers the inflatable protection device. A structure is arranged between the cover and the inflatable device and in an electric circuit for the activation of an electrically activated device of the vehicle, preferably its horn. The structure comprises an active part which lies under a part of the cover, whereby the active part of the structure is an electrically conducting material, activated by a force on the cover produced by the vehicle passenger.
