PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrain the rotation of a motor shaft so that the life of a fan motor may be lengthened by eliminating a little rotation of the motor shaft, generated by inertial rotation to be generated when the motor shaft and the fan are integrally rotted by inertia just after the fan motor is turned off. SOLUTION: An air blower is constituted of an external thread member 4 fixed on a motor shaft 3, an internal thread member 5 to be longitudinally moved on the motor shaft 3 by the rotation or the stop of the external thread member 4, a fan 6 to be freely rotated on the motor shaft 3, first projecting parts 5a formed on the internal thread member 5, and second projecting parts 6a formed on the fan 6 so as to be engaged with the first projecting parts 5a by the rotation of the motor shaft 3. Therefore, only the fan 6 is rotated by inertia when the rotation of the motor shaft 3 is stopped. |
