The cabinet has a door (2) and a cabinet casing (10) which meet to compress a seal of a different profile. Compressive forces are applied through stiffening plates welded inside the door and casing rims, providing parallel, inward-facing flanges. Each door-pivoted latch (48), operated (45) from a central point (4) has an end tee-piece (51) carrying two rollers (54) on parallel spindles (53), straddling the meeting flanges. During the door closing operation, the inner roller rides up a bearing wedge (5) under the casing flange, to provide the necessary seal compression. A valve is used for pressure relief. |
