PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device which reduces the possibilities of the breakage of a transfer material at the time of jam processing greatly. SOLUTION: Any of jam detection sensors (a), (b), (c), (d), (e), (f), (g), (h) judges that jamming occurs in a condition in which a transfer material is at positions α, β, γ indicated by a dashed line. When a picture image formation device 1 and a paper feeding device 4 are divided, a feeder 13 is pulled out, a paper feeding tray 12 is removed or a multiple transfer mechanism 2 is pulled out, the transfer material is forcibly fed by conveyance rollers B, B', C, C', a paper feeding roller D, conveyance rollers E, E', 19, 20 or a conveyance roller in the multiple transfer mechanism 2 to prevent the breakage thereof. |
