PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for efficiently enhancing the feed of poly- unsaturated fatty acid(PUFA), particularly docosahexaenoic acid(DHA) to rotifers important as fishing baits or fish farming in the high-density culture conditions. SOLUTION: Relating to nutrition enhancement for rotifers under high-density culture conditions, the rotifers are cultured more than about 1,000 rotifers every 1 ml of the culture mixture together with the cell bodies of a microorganism containing polyunsaturated fatty acids. The PUFA contains at least one selected from the group consisting of docosahexaenoic acid, eicosapentaenoic acid, arachidonic acid, α-linolenic acid, γ-linolenic acid and (n-6) docosapentaenoic acid. |
