摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate a passage loss due to the addition or elimination of wavelength, by optically exciting a fiber amplifier that is subjected to doping treatment by rate earth elements. SOLUTION: A wavelength division multiplexing signal is fed as an input to an optical circulator 310. When it exits the light circulator 310, it is amplified by an optical fiber segment 340 that is subjected to doping treatment by erbium before reaching a Bragg lattice 330. The Bragg lattice 330 is adapted to reflect and return the subset of a light signal with a selective wavelength toward the optical circulator 310. These reflected signals are eliminated, subjected to multiplex separation, or divided as needed. In this configuration, an excitation source 360 is coupled to an area between the optical fiber segment 340 and an output port 312 of the light circular 310, thus exciting the optical fiber segment 340 so that an erbium ion reaches a high meta-stable energy state.
