The platform of the suspended tent is fixed at two securements (B1,B2) by means of ropes (2) of which two ropes are secured to the platform outside the connection between the two securements (B1,B2) and two other ropes (2) are fixed to the securement points (B1,B2) at two points (P1,P3) and two points (P2,P4) at different heights. To instal or take down the tent, the platform frame corners (3) outside the lines connecting the points (B1 and B2) are connected by two identical ropes (2a,2b) to anchoring points (P1,P2) above the platform. The platform is then raised by these so that it can be held at required height and locked against tipping movement by means of two rope brakes which statically separate the rope sectors at the platform level. The platform is proof against bending or torsion, using a frame (4) erected between corners (3) both to compensate for securement (B1,B2) shifting movements and also form a supporting frame for the tent in service.
