The road vehicle radio has a pivot mounted flap (2) that is used to enclose the control panel. At the end of the flap is a profiled hook (5) that engages a pivot mounted hook in the main housing (1). The hook is drawn into the engaged position by a permanent magnet (7) in the flap. The flap is released by a push button unit (6).
