PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily detect the operating state of a relay only by approaching a probe to a relay body, without giving influence on the relay circuit side by providing a magnetic detecting sensor for detecting the leak magnetic flux of the relay and a light emitting diode for displaying the operating state of the relay by the leakage magnetic flux which is detected by the magnetic detecting sensor. SOLUTION: A probed having the magnetic detecting sensor 1 of a relay operation detecting device 9 is made to approach a relay electrically connected to a relay circuit-side coil. The magnetic detecting sensor 1 detects the leakage magnetic flux of the relay and outputs a voltage signal, and a sensor signal amplifier circuit 2 amplifies this voltage signal and outputs a positive or negative voltage according to the polarity of the leak magnetic flux. According to whether this voltage is positive or negative, a comparator 4 or 5 lights a light emitting diode 6, when the voltage is a voltage set by a non-inversion or inverse input terminal or more, or less than this voltage. According to this, the operating state of the relay can be detected by the lighting of the light emitting diode 6, without giving influence on the relay circuit side.
