PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a squeeze roller whose squeezing performance is not lowered with time in an automatic developing device. SOLUTION: A pair of squeeze rollers 10 used for a photosensitive material processor is obtained by spirally and tightly winding a stainless-steel fine wire 16 round the outside circumferential surface of a metal-made roller 14. As a result, when a photosensitive material enters between a pair of rollers 10, developer attached to the surface of the photosensitive material is attached to recessed parts formed among the wires 16. Since the recessed parts are very fine and uniformly formed in the width direction of the rollers 10, the developer can be uniformly squeezed from the surface of the photosensitive material. Besides, since the solution resistance of the wire 16 is high, the squeezing performance is not deteriorated with time.
