<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color identifying stick for securing safe walking of a visually handicapped person or the like by detecting information identified by the color of a white line, a yellow line, or the like drawn on a walking road. <P>SOLUTION: This color identifying stick has a color identifying sensor 20 built in the tip. The color identifying sensor 20 irradiates the walking road 100 with white light and receives reflected light from the line 110 drawn on the walking road 100, to detect color by color separation. A control circuit 30 identifies the color of the line 110 drawn on the walking road 100, based on the output of the color identifying sensor 20, and in the case the identified color is a predetermined color, the control circuit 30 performs the driving control of an informing part 40 in a mode corresponding to this color, to inform a user. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
