PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for packaging the barrel part of laminated papers in which a period of time required for packaging can be reduced. SOLUTION: A folded-back packaging paper 3 positioned on the upper surface of laminated papers 2 of which motion is prevented by a stopper 7 is pushed by a pressing member 9, an edge is formed at a front surface side of the packaging paper 3, an abutting member 15 is turned to be moved away from the packaging paper 3, the abutting member 15 is protruded out of the transporting surface of a second conveyor 6 to lift up the packaging paper at the rear end side, it is turned in such a way that it may become perpendicular to the transporting surface of the second conveyor, descended and the bent-back packaging paper positioned on the upper surface of the laminated papers is pressed by a corner part of the abutting member to form an edge part of the rear surface of the packaging paper, the rear side of the packaging paper is overlapped on the front side of the packaging paper formed with the front surface edge of the packaging paper, the front side of the packaging paper and the rear side of the packaging paper are adhered by adhesive agent.
