PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a knit wear such as a sweater having sleeves, tights, or the like, knitted in a tube form by using a flat knitting machine, constituted of a pair of one side knit wear and the other side knit wear which are mutually connected at left and right sleeves and bodies or left and right leg parts. SOLUTION: This method for producing a knit wear is to begin to knit a one side knit wear as one tube-shaped unit brought to have an opening on the end side and, on the way of knitting, knit the aforesaid tube-shaped unit to branch into several tube-shaped units, subsequently knit the other side knit wear to bring several tube-shaped units to connect to each tube-shaped unit of the aforesaid several tube-shaped units of the one side knit wear and, on the way, bring the aforesaid several tube-shaped units to integrate to one unit to knit one tube-shaped body.
