<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a door handle device for vehicles improving the operability or the like. <P>SOLUTION: A handle body 24 is constituted of a disc-shaped finger hook 40 and a continual rectangular proximal part 41 to the finger hook 40. When a driver carries an infant, a shopping bag or the like, the driver can not insert the finger tip of one hand into a door handle from the upper direction, the horizontal direction or the slant direction. But as the handle body 24 has the disc-shaped finger hook 40, the driver can insert the finger tips from the upper and lower and the rear continuous three directions and hence, the insertable angle θ becomes very large.
