PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a preparation land forming method and a waste wood disposing method capable of effectively disposing of waste wood at a low cost and having an extremely excellent practical use. SOLUTION: The bush planted in a land expected to be prepared is removed and, after the land expected to be prepared is roughly prepared, the land is graded for forming a preparation land. The waste wood produced after the bush is removed from the land expected to be prepared is crushed in the land to form small wood pieces. The small wood pieces are mixed in the land for preparation or, after the rough preparation, mixed in the land to form a small wood piece layer 1 having small wood pieces mixed therein, and the surface layer of the small wood piece layer 1 is prepared.
