摘要 PURPOSE: A thin film transistor-liquid crystal display having improved response speed is provided to secure a viewing angle without using a vertical orientation agent and to acquire fast response speed with vertical orientation. CONSTITUTION: The first TN alignment film(6) is formed on a glass substrate. An orientation agent is coated on the first TN alignment film and rubbed such that the first TN alignment film has a specific pre-tilt angle. The second TN alignment film(10) is formed on the rubbed first TN alignment film. An orientation agent is coated on the second TN alignment film and processed such that the second TN alignment film has a pre-tilt angle different from the pre-tilt angle of the first TN alignment film. The sum of orientation force vectors(8,12) of the first and second TN alignment films controls orientation of liquid crystal molecules.
