An apparatus for dispensing fluid (26) into pre-formed, flexible containers (14) and enclosing the fluid within the containers includes a web of film (12) comprising a series of pre-formed flexible containers (14), each of the pre-formed containers being capable of holding therein a quantity of fluid and having an opening (16) for receiving such fluid. After fluid is placed in each pre-formed container (14), the opening is sealed closed to thereby enclose the fluid (26) within the container.
