PURPOSE: A swage type lock bolt and an assembling tool are provided to prevent rotation of a ring after assembling, and to reduce fatigue in the major axis by adjusting the assembling force. CONSTITUTION: A lock bolt(10) is composed of a bolt head(12) fixed in an object, a bolt pin(14) integrally formed with the bolt head by penetrating the object, a pin tail(16) integrally formed with the bolt pin and cut by tension in assembling, and a ring placed in the object and fitted to the thread of the bolt pin. An assembling tool has bypass holes bypassing compressed air, an outer cylindrical nose(24) pressing the ring to the thread of the bolt pin, a holder(26) inserted to the outer nose to pull the pin tail, and a jaw(32) holding the pin tail. Manufacturing cost is reduced with decreasing process, and assembling force is improved with forming a rotation preventive groove axially in the bolt pin.
