A process of magnetic treatment and clarification of aqueous solutions consists in sequential passage of aqueous solutions through the magnetic fields with different value of magnetic induction. In this case, in initial stage, when the flow of aqueous solution is subjected to the action of magnetic field with smaller value of magnetic induction, optimum conditions of polarization for aggregation, coagulation of insoluble particles are ensured, and in the final stage, when the flow of aqueous solution is subjected to the action of magnetic field with greater value of magnetic induction, optimum conditions for preventing from the association of anti-ions are ensured. A device for magnetic treatment and clarification of aqueous solutions includes a housing with a cover, consisting of the chamber of precipitation and sludge collector divided by a lattice, a partition, inlet and outlet ducts located in the upper part of the housing, the branch pipe for discharge of slime. Magnetic systems are made in the form of magnetic bars with different value of magnetic induction. The increase of efficiency of the particles removal from the aqueous solutions and optimum conditions for averting the association of anti-ions are provided.
