BILE ACIDS AND THEIR DERIVATIVES AS HIPOGLYCEMICS

The invention refers to the problem of decreasing the content of D-glucose in the blood of the mammals by means of an original procedure for using bile acids and their derivatives as hipoglycemics. It is well known that bile acids and some of their derivatives enable the passage of insuline through the nose tissue into the blood stream, where we have decrease of contents of glucose in blood (hypoglycemics). However, it has not been known that the bile acids themselves and their derivatives lower the contents of glucose in the blood, and that they act as hipoglycemics. In the literature, available up to now, it has been noted that internazal or in other way applied bile acids lower thr concentration of glucose in the blood (Medline, Database on CD, Silverplatter 1983-1996). This effect of bile acids and their derivatives as means that lower concentration of glucose in the blood is important because of the possible application of these means as antidiabetics and hipoglycemics. The essence of the invention consists in the fact that, for example, nazal applications of salts of bile acids as well as their derivatives, and also the solution containing mixture of insuline and salts derivatives of bile acids brings the lowering of the contents of D-glucose in the blood. In our work, for the purpose of lowering the level of D-glucose in the blood, there are derivates of natural bile acids.
